C. Lloyd Rushmeier

C. Lloyd Rushmeier passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 12, after a long struggle with cancer.

He was born to Charles and Pauline Rushmeier of Lind on August 28, 1925. He graduated from Lind High School in 1943, where he was a three sports letterman. He married Violet Scheller of Ritzville in 1947.

After graduation, he played baseball for Lind and Ralston Rabbits for 12 years. He began his career in home construction in his teen years, building homes in Ritzville and Moses Lake, until moving to the Seattle area in 1958.
