Burke International  Invite held Saturday

Tony Burke, and Bill Burke of Spokane, recently hosted a golf tournament for family and friends at the Ritzville course.  The scramble format found six teams of three competing for bragging rights.  Golfers were from British Columbia, Spokane and Ritzville. 

Skins (getting the lowest score on any one hole, without a tie) were awarded to four of the six teams. 

Winning first place, with a score of 65, was the team of Tony Burke, Jennifer Burke Clary and Ron Grams.  The second place team consisted of Cheri Haarstad,  Ronna Galbreath  and Max Ogrin.   

Teams winning “skins” included the two above teams plus the teams of Don Redding, Roxanne Burke, Gary Galbreath; and  the team of Debbie Redding, Lynda Haylow and Bill Burke. 

Additional teams  included Maynard Lund, Nancy Burke and Paul Clary; and Cody Clary, Jim Haylow and Shirley Ogrin.

Paul Clary donated steaks for the dinner that were prepared by Dan Haarstad. Other golfers provided the salads and desserts.  Each individual received a donated gift and participated in a drawing for door prizes collected by Bill Burke.
