Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
A variety of activities and entertainment highlight this week’s Adams County Fair from Sept. 12-15. With a theme of “Buckets of Fun,” the four-day fair is set to provide visitors with a weekend of enjoyable activities.
Highlights of the Adams County Fair include Predator of the Heart-Wild Animal Encounters, Dutch Oven cooking by the N.W. Chapter of American Chuck Wagons, the Panhandle Polecats, Ventriloquist Jerry Breeden, Cowboy Mounted Shooters, Draft Horse Pull, Kids Tractor Pull and a Diaper Derby.
Students from the Lind-Ritzville FFA chapter that are traveling to the Adams County Fair to compete are Taylor Kulm, TyAnn Tellefson, Bryden Laird, Grayson Whitaker and Beau Jones. Kulm and Tellefson are showing steers and Laird, Whitaker and Jones are showing hogs.
The Adams County Fairgrounds are located at 831 South Reynolds Road in Othello. Daily admission prices are $5 for an adult, $3 for senior citizens, $3 for children between the ages of seven and 11, and children under the age of six are admitted free.
