The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos will travel Friday to Warden for the season opener. They are set to square off against a non-league opponent when they meet Warden at 7 p.m.
Head coach Greg Whitmore expects Warden to test the Broncos’ pass defense. The team likes to throw often and will spread out the field.
Whitmore said the Broncos’ defense should do a good job of containing the run during the early season outing.
