Talent show features local performers

The talent show makes its return after a hiatus during the past few years. The activity serves as a kick off of the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair and begins at 6 p.m. tonight (Thursday).

The Ritzville Lions Club will start the event with a skit. The group was rehearsing Wednesday night and according to Dr. Warren Kragt, the skit will feature a bit of humor, fun and singing by Lions Club members.

The Ritzville Community Theatre group will present a preview of its upcoming play when they perform a short scene.

Brian White will play the piano and Taylor White will play the fiddle.

Coralee Merrill, 10, will display her singing talents. Merrill will belt out her rendition of Taylor Swift’s “Our Song.”

Marc Hickey, a local guitarist and singer, will share his musical stylings with the audience.

The Ritzville Community Choir will gather in the amphitheater to present a trio of songs to highlight the evening performances.
