The annual Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 is hosting the annual Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Health Fair is set up in Pioneer Plaza in downtown Ritzville.
East Adams County Healthcare Foundation is sponsoring reduced fee labs of $10 for general health panels and a $25 Vitamin D test. Costco is providing hearing screenings, and EARH is offering blood pressure tests.
Hand to Health Therapeutic Massage is offering mini massages and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center (SHMC) Women’s Health is providing $5 bone density tests, sponsored by Inland Imaging Business Associates. Avista Utilities is providing an electric power line safety demonstration.
The two mobile services at the event are the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Mobile Community Services Office and the Inland Northwest Blood Center (INBC) Blood Drive.
Activities for children at the event are sponsored by First Avenue Storage and include a treasure hunt, beanbag toss, cupcake walk and glitter tattoos. The treasure hunt winner receives a family activity basket donated by Molina Healthcare. Those in attendance at the event also have an opportunity to win a new flat screen TV donated by Western State Benefit Planning.
