I understand that “Project 56” is approximately 10+ years in the making with a plan to collect ravenous from donations and conducting special events to raise funds. In the six years I’ve lived here, I have not seen much action pointed toward the “Project 56” fundraising effort! Which to me means that the governing body directing the “Project” was being motivated by false dreams or a lack of planning direction!
To even suggest that “Project 56” be financed by increasing property taxes by majority vote is nothing more than another definition for “Burglary”... You know, by using your neighbors home to profit without his permission just because others say (by majority vote) it’s OK! I’m already paying for a Water Park I do not use and a golf course I do not use! Now another group of “Do-Gooders” want me to pay for a track my 76-year-old legs are not going to run on!
