Walletta Gwyn Hayes

Walletta (Walle) Gwyn Hayes passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Spokane at the age of 69.

She was born on May 29, 1943, in Poulsbo, Wash., to Georgia (Jo) Harmon Bruner and Wallace W. Davis.

She attended Big Bend Community College earning an accounting degree and nearly completed a bachelor’s degree at Eastern Washington University.

She lived in Ritzville and Moses Lake for most of her adult life and made many close friends along the way. The past seven years she lived in Spokane in the O’Malley Apartments and it was said by friends that she warmed her way into the hearts of many of the residen...
