Lawrence L. Johnson

Lawrence L. “Larry” Johnson passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, in Colbert, Wash., at the age of 70.

He was born July 1, 1942, to Edward and Florence Johnson in Ritzville.

He attended Ritzville schools and joined the USMC and served four years. He returned to Ritzville where he lived the rest of his life.

He is survived by his son, Leon Johnson of Texas; his mother, Florence Hart of Ritzville; his twin brother, Terry Johnson of Ritzville; and his beloved aunt, Emma Kosek of Ritzville.

Visitation is to be Thursday, Aug. 16, from 12–5 p.m. at Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville.

Funeral services are Friday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. at Danekas Funeral Home located at 207 East Main Avenue in Ritzville. Interment will follow at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
