Entry forms ready for Ritzville parade

The Ritzville Community Parade has been slated for Saturday, Sept. 1, beginning at 11 a.m. Entry forms can be picked up from Jan Marshall and Debi Balfe at Ritzville City Hall, and forms must be submitted by Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Grand marshals for the 2012 parade are metal sculpture artists Lamar Thiel, Jake Harder, Sherryl and Vince Evans, and Annie Smart.

The children’s parade begins at 10:45 a.m. and the theme is “Boys n’ Girls, Tux n’ Pearls.” Entry forms are not required for the children’s parade.

All children participating in the parade should meet at the Dr. Frank R. Burroughs’ Home and Museum at 408 West Main Avenue by 10:30 a.m.
