Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Well with three weeks off it was back on the road to parades. On July 14, we ventured to Chewelah for their parade. Brandn drove the float up there and we got everything unloaded and ready to go.
The weather started off like it was going to storm but within an hour it was nice and hot. The parade was nice and afterwards they had food in the park along with an awards banquet.
The adventure for this parade was the Esser family pickup was acting up so they headed home, as Aaron was getting nervous. Well indeed he had every right as we ended up broken down in Clayton for three hours. Wow, what a memory this shall be.
Taylor attended the awards banquet and represented us there. Thank you, Taylor! Thank you to Brandn, Stephanie, Briana, BJ White and Aaron, Jodie, Blake and Brenik Esser for all their help with the parade.
On July 21 we were off to Davenport. We met and got changed and waited for the judges to come and see us. The weather was wonderful and the parade was nice and short. We had a luncheon at the church and the food was delicious.
Once again we had a good time and thanks again to Brandn, Stephanie, Briana White and Aaron, Jodie, Blake and Brenik Esser for your help escorting the float in the parade.
