June 16, 10:48 p.m. – Sergeant Mark Cameron responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the 100 block of West Fourth Avenue. Complainant advised of a dark colored Chevy Lumina-style or Toyota-style minivan with one occupant that turned into the complainant’s driveway. When the suspect saw the complainant, they drove away toward Division from Washington. Complainant advised they have a yard sale in their yard and thought the subject may have been planning on stealing something. Sgt. Cameron checked the area and was unable to locate the subject vehicle.
June 16, 9:59 p.m. – Officer Tom Gracie and Sergeant Cameron contacted a subject in the 100 block of North Washington Street on an unrelated matter. The subject was found to have suspected methamphetamine on his person. The unidentified individual was arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail.
June 15, 8:50 p.m. – Officer Hunter Klewin responded to a citizen assist call in the 600 block of West Main. Officer Klewin accompanied the complainants to the residence and stood by while they collected their belongings without incident.
June 14, 7:46 p.m. – Officer Klewin responded to the 100 block of West First Avenue. Complainant advised of an open door at the location and thought it might have been kicked in. Officer Klewin determined the door did not access the inside of the building and was broken and could not be locked. Officer Klewin cleared the scene.
June 14, 4:54 p.m. – Officer Klewin responded to a harassment call in the 200 block of South Palouse Street. The complainant advised of a subject who was trying to get the complainant fired. Officer Klewin advised both parties to avoid each other.
June 12, 10:42 p.m. – Officer Klewin responded to a harassment call in the 200 block of East Birch Avenue. The complainant requested Officer Klewin listen to threatening messages left on the answering machine.
June 12, 7:04 p.m. – Officer Klewin responded to a domestic in progress in the 100 block of East Third Avenue. Complainant advised of a female subject that is yelling for help and complainant believes that the subject may be bleeding from the back of their head, but was unsure. Officer Klewin made contact with the female subject and determined she was assaulted with scissors. An unidentified male subject was arrested and booked into jail for assault.
June 12, 3:17 a.m. – Officer Klewin responded to a citizen assist in the 700 block of South Chelan Street. Complainant advised of a female subject that was lying on their front porch. Complainant advised they had given the subject a coat and a blanket and was fine with the subject being there, just concerned about their welfare. Officer Klewin made contact with the subject who advised they were from Wenatchee and waiting on a friend to return home.
June 11, 10:36 p.m. – Officer Klewin responded to a suspicious person call in the 1000 block of South Division Street. Complainant advised of a suspicious male subject riding a bicycle in front of their residence, looking into the house. Officer Klewin checked the area and was unable to locate any subject on a bicycle.
June 11, 3:20 p.m. – Officer Gracie responded to a possible juvenile problem in the 600 block of South Palouse Street. Officer Gracie arrived on scene and made contact with the juveniles. Officer Gracie did not observe any suspicious activity and cleared the scene.
June 11, 1:23 p.m. – Sergeant Cameron responded to a suspicious person call in the 300 block of East Alder Avenue. Dispatch advised of a white male subject, in his late teens to early 20s, wearing dark clothing and a black hat, who was asking for the complainants’ husband, but did not know his name. Subject then asked to use the complainants phone when the complainant observed the subject had a cell phone. The subject left the area in an unknown direction. Sgt. Cameron searched the area but was unable to locate the subject.
June 11, 1:06 p.m. – Officer Gracie responded to a harassment complaint in the 400 block of East Sixth Avenue. Officer Gracie contacted the complainant who advised that another juvenile subject had threatened their child at school that day. Officer Gracie made contact with the juvenile subject and their parents and advised them any further threats would be referred to the Adams County Juvenile Prosecutors.
June 10, 9:19 p.m. – Sergeant Cameron responded to a suspicious person call in the 300 block of North Whittlesey Street. Complainant advised of a female subject who entered the abandoned burned out building at 8 p.m. and has not seen the subject exit. Sgt. Cameron checked the building and was unable to locate anyone.
June 10, 5:36 p.m. – Officer Gracie responded to a harassment call in the 100 block of West Ninth Avenue. Officer Gracie contacted the parties involved and advised them to avoid contact with each other.
June 10, 4:47 p.m. – Officer Gracie responded to a citizen assist call in the 1000 block of South Jackson Street. Officer Gracie contacted the complainant and assisted them as needed.
June 9, 9:25 p.m. – While on patrol, Sergeant Cameron made contact with and arrested Larry Blaske on a series of warrants including an assault in the fourth degree from Adams County, a disorderly conduct and resisting arrest warrant from Grant County and a DUI warrant from Franklin County. The subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Adams County Jail.
June 9, 7:42 p.m. – Sergeant Cameron responded to a citizen dispute near the West Side Motel on West First Avenue. Sgt. Cameron made contact with all subjects involved and nearby witnesses and determined the dispute was only verbal. Sgt. Cameron advised the subjects that if the police are called to the location again, the subjects could face charges of disorderly conduct or assault. All subjects advised they understood and Sgt. Cameron cleared the scene.
June 9, 10:57 a.m. – Officer Gracie responded to a possible burglary call in the 300 block of West Third Avenue. Officer Gracie contacted the complainant and victims who stated some time between 4:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. someone entered the residence and took personal items including cell phones, video games, keys and a wallet. Investigation ongoing.
