Schwisow’s celebrate 50 years of marriage

Family and friends gathered together on Sunday, July 1 at the Wheat Growers Building to celebrate 50 years of marriage between Del and Carol Schwisow. The couple had married on July 1, 1962.

Laura Evans recreated a replica of their wedding cake and Margaret Farris cooked a Sunday brunch for all in attendance. An estimated 120 people attended the event, mostly Washington State University supporters, as both Del and Carol are Cougar fans.

Photos and keepsakes of the couple were displayed throughout the room and Carol’s wedding dress was on display in the entranceway to the building.
