Wargo competes at state tennis

At the Yakima Tennis Club on May 26, LaCrosse-Washtucna athlete Justin Wargo battled to place at the state level, but fell just short.

The first game Wargo played was against Trym Torvund from Overlake. Wargo was defeated by Torvund 6-1, 6-0, and entered the consolation bracket.

Wargo would have to go on to win his next two games but when he matched up against Matt Robinson of Chelan, Wargo fell short with a score of 6-2, 6-0.

Wargo is a junior at LaCrosse High School, and has one more year to earn a place at the state competition....
