Last chance to sign up for Dutch oven contest

The Historic Ritzville Days Western Art Show Executive Committee is extending the deadline to participate in the Dutch Oven Cook-Off on Saturday. Chairman Jennifer Saunders encourages all that enjoy the art of cooking in a Dutch oven to join the fun.

“Don’t worry about the fact it’s a competition,” she said. “Just have fun. This is mostly to demonstrate the joys of cooking with a Dutch oven and to educate people about it.”

Anyone may sign up by contacting Saunders at the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce office, 659-1936, or at 509-660-0654. Cost is $50 per team.
