Golf league gets underway

The 2012 Men’s League at Ritzville Municipal Golf Course is underway. The first round of play is in the books and the results were released this week.

Team No. 9 with Joe Kinch, Craig Ulleland, Dennis Wellsandt, Travis Simonson and Duane Fowles came in first place with a score of 90.

Team No. 3 of Brian Gordon, Jerry Crossler, Gayle Gering, Paul Schwisow and John Kragt tied with Team No. 11 Gary Galbreath, Clete Galbreath, Jim Heider, Jeff Holland and Rich Allert with 91.

Team No. 5 and Team No. 10 also tied with scores of 93. The Team No. 5 golfers are Bruce Benzel, Jim Leffel, Butch Gering, Gerry Schoesler and Roger Schwab. The Team No. 10 roster includes Tim Wellsandt, Dave Powers, Dean Whitman, Scott Cave and Maynard Lund.
