Tribute to veterans set for May 19

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 11446, American Legion No. 51 and the reserve unit from Spokane, have scheduled a memorial tribute to veterans on Saturday, May 19. The tribute is to be held at the Ritzville Memorial Cemetery beginning at 1 p.m., and honors those veterans that have passed away and did not have military recognition.

The memorial tribute is to honor veterans from Lind, Washtucna, Benge, Ritzville and Hatton. The event is open to families of veterans and the public is invited to attend.
