Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Big Bend Community College Trustees announced the names of the four finalists for president during a special meeting on May 3. Trustees are conducting a search to replace Bill Bonaudi, who retires June 30, after 17 years as president of BBCC. Finalists were selected from 30 applicants.
“Three finalists are from Minnesota, and three have experience working in higher education in Eastern Washington,” said Trustee Chair Mike Wren.
The finalists include: Dr. Terrence Leas, chief executive officer of Riverland Community College, Minn.; Dr. Jerome Migler, campus CEO, Minnesota State Community & Technical College, Moorhead, Minn.; Dr. Anne Temte, president of Northland Community & Technical College, St. Paul, Minn.; and Denise Yochum, president of Pierce College Fort Steilacoom, Lakewood, Wash.
“If the process continues as planned, we intend to announce a new president at the board of Trustees meeting on June 14,” Wren said.
Trustees are planning to visit the home campuses of the finalists. The dates and times of forums to meet the candidates also are to be announced later.
