Ritzville High School students participated in and completed a successful diaper drive for the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery (VBCN) in Spokane. Gerri Manke, a former Ritzville resident, volunteers her time at the nursery and presented to the RHS student body earlier this year. The speech emphasized how important diapers, wipes, and formula were for the children who come to VBCN.
The RHS students had a class competition to see which class could collect the most baby products. It was also a competition between the boys and girls of each class.
