LRS teams sponsor “Hope for Hayden” barbecue

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos baseball and softball teams are hosting a fundraiser barbeque on Friday, April 20 during the games against Reardan. Brittnay Ste. Marie and Brooke Pichette have organized this event and the money raised is going to “Hope for Hayden.”

“We wanted to do a fundraiser because it’s such a moving story,” said Pichette. “The community is always helping us and we wanted to give back to the community.”

“It’s such a sad story and this is a good opportunity to help someone else,” added Ste. Marie.
