Broncos race in Colfax, Medical Lake

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team traveled to Colfax High School on April 10 to compete in the District 7 League meet.

Matt Fryberger and Ryan Whitmore lead the boys’ team by both placing second and third in two of their events. Kate Schell secured two third place finishes at the event, as well as helping the 800-meter relay team earn fourth place.

Boys’ results

The LRS men’s team finished sixth out of nine teams at the event and earned 51 points as a team.

The LRS track team made a trip to Medical Lake on Saturday, April 14 to compete in the Undeberg Invitational.

Schell continues to lead the girls’ team with placing first and third in her individual events and helping secure a first place finish for the 4x200 meter relay. Whitmore led the boys’ team with two fourth place finishes in both of the hurdling events.

At the Undeberg Invitational, the boys’ team finished in twelfth place with a total of 26.5 points.
