Edith Adaline Ketelsen

Edith A. (Smith) Ketelsen passed away in Bend, Ore., on March 24, at the age of 91.

She was born May 13, 1921, in Billings, Mont. to Arthur and Sarah Adaline (Addie) Smith.

As a girl she enjoyed train trips to Oklahoma to visit relatives, camping with her family, riding her bicycle, and later, riding horses. When she was 15, she met Ray Ketelsen and fell in love. Four years and hundreds of letters later, they were married in Reno, Nev. on Sep 1, 1940.
