Washtucna announces student honors

Washtucna High School is proud to announce that Jason Hulett, son of Bill and Trish Hulett, is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2012. Hulett has been active throughout high school with athletics, FFA and is currently the outgoing ASB treasurer.

Recently Hulett was inducted into the Washtucna Chapter of the National Honor Society, which accepts only students who are active in school and community activities and also have a grade point of 3.5 or higher.

Washtucna Public Schools would also like to congratulate the following students for outstanding attendance during the first semester. Students who missed three or less days first semester were Ashley Boyer, Ava Calaway, Nia Calaway, Josh Crouse, Briattany Gordon, Jazzmyn Gordon, TJ Harder, Cooper Jessop, Mercedes Miller, Grace Nelson, John Riser, Dyson Schiable and Jordanne Webb.

The No. 1 Club students who have missed one day or less during the first semester are Garrett Correll, Madisyn Gallagher, Douglas McKeen, Kaese Ramos, Bo Rice, Chance Rice, and lastly Levi Tobin, who did not miss any school days during the first semester.
