May 18 deadline set to apply for AAUW scholarship

As part of its commitment to making a significant impact on education and equity for all women, the Ritzville branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is offering a scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to a woman who graduated from Ritzville, Lind, or Sprague High School and is entering her third year of college in the fall of 2012. This is the 17th year the scholarship has been awarded.

AAUW, nationally and locally, wishes to encourage women in the fields of math, science, and technology to apply, as preference is given to women majoring in these fields. This includes...
