Library hosts business after hours, photographer Delevingne

The Ritzville Public Library is hosting Business After Hours on Thursday, April 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. with special guest, Lionel Delevingne. Delevingne, a native of France, is a photographer that co-produced the local book, “Drylands, a Rural American Saga” with author Steve Turner.

Turner, who published two books about the local area, passed away peacefully on March 18 at his home in Santa Cruz, Calif. Delevingne plans to dedicate his visit and have a remembrance speech in honor of his friend, Turner.

Locals are encouraged to bring their edition of “Drylands, a Rural American Saga” for Delevingne to sign. The Friends of the Library has a small selection of the books available for purchase and it can also be purchased on http://www.amazon.com.

The Friends of the Library are providing refreshments and a gift basket is being raffled during the event.

For more information about the event, contact the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce at 659-1936, or by e-mail at [email protected].
