Whitmore, Wahl place LRS at Deer Park

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team traveled to Deer Park High School on Friday, March 30, to compete in the seventh annual Dan Birdsell Invitational meet.

Ryan Whitmore led the boys’ side of the team with two third place finishes in both of the hurdle races. Maya Wahl led the girls’ team with a third place finish in high jump and contributed to a fourth place finish in the 4x200 relay.

The LRS boys’ team finished in 11th place out of 15 teams with a total of 22.5 points.
