SJELW place high at first invitational

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse-Washtucna track and field team traveled to the Lapwai Invitational on March 17 for the first track meet of the season.

The SJELW men’s team finished sixth out of 17 teams with 50 total points. The SJELW women’s team finished second overall with 91 points total. Both of Grangeville’s teams won first place at the event.

Darcy Stamper placed first in the high jump and also raced in all three relays, which placed second, fourth and eighth.
