Lind Town Council considers urban chickens

During the Lind Town Council meeting on Tuesday, Mar. 13, council members decided to continue the conversation of residents having the option to raise chickens.

The town currently does not allow citizens living inside of the residential zone to raise chickens. Recently the Lind Town Council members have been asked to consider the possibility of allowing chickens in the urban areas for economic, health and personal reasons. Citizens have expressed interest in saving money by raising their own chickens and to provide a healthy option for their families.
