The Harrington Opera House is ready to initiate the start of a new season by hosting a Tingstad and Rumble concert on Saturday, Mar. 17, with a 7 p.m. performance. The Grammy Award winning duo of Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumble are performer/composers who are known for their Celtic sound featuring acoustic finger-style guitar and melodic woodwinds. They have been performing together since the mid 1980’s.
Tingstad is a classical guitarist while Rumble plays oboe, English horn and ocarina. The St. Patrick’s Day performance features selections from their new album.
Advanced tickets are $15 and available at Ritzville Drug Company or by calling Harrington City Hall at 509-253-4719. Limited tickets available at the door.
The HOH season is full of entertainment, following the Tingstad and Rumble concert, the hall hosts a presentation by missionaries Larry and Susal Weil on Sunday, Mar. 18, the Ritzville Community Theatre performs, “Three in a Row – a Game Show,” on Apr. 21 and there is a Quilt Show and Coulee Community Choir performance on April 28 and 29.
