Bus route plans in the works

With the academic cooperative beginning in the fall of this year, transportation routes have began being designed by school administration. Rob Roettger, superintendent of both Lind and Ritzville schools, has worked with Lynn Sackmann, supervisor of transportation in Lind, to determine the best routes for students next school year.

“The main difference is that we’re going from 13 to 16 routes, so that way we don’t have kids on the bus for too long,” said Roettger. “All of the kids will be on the bus for about the same amount of time, and we have more direct routes.”
