RGS collecting Labels for Education

The Ritzville Grade School is participating in the Labels for Education program in hopes of earning enough points to purchase a die cutting machine. The Labels for Education program collects labels and caps from participating products, which earns the school points.

Participating products in Labels for Education include Campbell’s soups, Glad food storage products, Pop Secret, V8 beverages and soups, Dannon, Emerald nuts and BIC writing utensils. The products can be worth one, five or ten points. A complete list of point values and products is available at http://www.labelsforeducation.com.

Store club cards, such as Safeway, Albertsons, Fred Meyers, etc., can also be registered to earn points for the school and earn an extra point per purchased item. Store club cards can be registered online at www.elabelsforeducation.com.

The roller die cutting machine comes with alphabet dies and allows the teachers to cut out letters and shapes easily.

The machine can be purchased with 60,000 points.

Labels and caps can be dropped off in the boxes at Harvest Foods or at the Ritzville Grade School. The program runs through June 1, and begins again at the start of the next school year.
