Robotics program moving ahead

The Lind robotics team had a week off due to snow days and is back in action this week. The media side received our PLATT electrical grant that we applied for. This will give us $500 to use toward our build project.

To show our thanks the business side has been writing thank you letters to the people and companies that have given us money or assistance. We have also been in charge of putting together the basketball hoop that the robot will use to practice.

The engineering side has been working on the electrical aspects and the building of our robot. We were able to make the robot move after connecting it to one of the little test bots. Unfortunately we cannot use this in competition but it was a great confidence booster to actually see it move. We will continue to put together parts to make it move.
