William Earl Snyder

William Earl Snyder, formerly of Washtucna, died Jan. 6, 2012, in San Francisco. His ashes will join those of his wife, Mary, in the Pacific Ocean. He was born in May of 1925. He was 86 at the time of his death. He was known as “City Bill.”

He is survived by two daughters, Ruth and Marjorie, of San Francisco; a son, David, of Vancouver, Wash .; a sister, Ann, of Spokane and five grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, in San Francisco.

The family would like stories of him that shows his characteristics to use during the memorial service. They may be emailed to [email protected].

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a favorite charity in his honor.
