The Lind Grange Hall is hosting a luncheon on Sunday, Jan. 22, for Lind community member, Ray Jenkins. Jenkins continues to battle cancer, and over the holidays, began chemotherapy again. The luncheon begins at 12 p.m. and runs until 3 p.m., with the funds benefitting the family by hopefully allowing Glenda Jenkins, Ray’s wife, to be home with Ray to care for him.
The luncheon is authentic Mexican food made by local Hispanic families including chicken or beef fajitas, rice, beans, dessert and a drink.
The prices are $10 for an adult plate, and $6 for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Lind School District employee, or in both school offices.
Several prize baskets are to be raffled off at the event. Join the fun, have a delicious meal, and support a wonderful family in our community.
If unable to attend the luncheon and wish to make a donation, please send the donation to Tina Schuler at PO Box 340, Lind, WA 99341.
