Dec. 11, 9:38 p.m. – Spokane complainant advised their dog got out of collar during the parade and fireworks in Lind. Dog is a black and white border collie named “Lucy” and is two years old.

Dec. 11, 2:33 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised that someone was locked out of the house, located on North Wilbur Road, Lind. Arrangements were made for the night. All parties advised they would contact the court in the morning.

Dec. 11, 9:54 a.m. – Deputy Lane provided Lind complainant with hulk vehicle form on vehicle at West First Street.

Dec. 11, 1:26 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a blue Ford pickup chasing deer in the area of North Benzel Road and East Franz Road, Ritzville. Sergeant Troy Mock and Deputy Lane were unable to locate the vehicle.

Dec. 9, 11:14 p.m. – Lind complainant called to advise that her husband and a friend went hunting in Republic. They called at 4:30 p.m., said they would be home by 8:00 p.m. and have not returned. Both cell phones go straight to voicemail. Friend’s wife hasn’t heard from them either. Contact was made with both wives regarding their husbands. A teletype was sent out regarding the male subjects and vehicle they are traveling in. Both subjects’ cell phones were traced to being used near Ellisforde, Wash., in Okanogan County at about 4:30 p.m. Phones haven’t been used since then. At 3:29 a.m. on Dec. 10 both subjects entered into WACIC/NCIC as missing persons. At 11:39 a.m. the husbands checked in and advised they had been stuck in their truck somewhere in a ravine and are okay and heading home.

Dec. 9, 6:32 p.m. – Ritzville complainant called to advise of some unusual tire tracks in his yard, asking for extra patrols. Complainant also advised he received a phone call from an unknown caller. When he answered, the caller hung up. Complainant thought this was strange and someone was checking where he was at.

Dec. 9, 5:47 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised that someone just stole their tractor on East Rehn Road. Advised they took it out towards Templin’s. Complainant advised it is an older John Deere with a blade on the back and a bucket on the front. Deputy Buriak contacted complainant and listed subjects regarding the matter. After further investigation, it was determined the issue was more civil then criminal. A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

Dec. 9, 12:43 p.m. – Lind complainant advised that a dark blue SUV/pickup type vehicle, similar to an Avalanche, drove through a field on West Sackman Road at North Deal Road, causing damage.

Dec. 9, 11:09 a.m. – Advised of a silent alarm at an address on South Pence Road, Lind. Arrived on scene and spoke to worker and owner by phone. The building is under construction and the workers accidentally pushed the button.

Dec. 9, 9:11 a.m. – Lind complainant advised that she was threatened over the phone. All parties were told to work their issue with stored property out like adults, and if they were unable to come to an agreement to contact the court for assistance. Subject told to not call, damage the property or go to the house.

Dec. 9, 10:15 a.m. – Lind complainant requested hulk vehicle forms at South Van Marter Avenue and West Main Street.

Dec. 8, 9:45 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of theft of combine on North Roxboro Road.

Dec. 8, 7:46 a.m. – Adams County Sheriff’s office cited David Robert James Green for driving while license suspended third degree at East Rosenoff Road and North Lauer Road, Ritzville.

Dec. 7, 9:12 p.m. – Deputy Lane located an injured deer on East Rosenoff Road and North Wahl Road, Ritzville. The deer had a broken front leg and was obviously suffering from the injury. Dep. Lane dispatched the deer at the scene.

Dec. 7, 6:59 p.m. – Ritzville complainant called and reported a suspicious vehicle in the area of North Batum Road and West Rosenoff Road. Vehicle registration returned to the listed owner. Deputy vehicle made phone contact with listed vehicle owner and was advised the vehicle broke down. Further advised family members were working on removing the vehicle. The vehicle was not reported to be blocking the roadway.

Dec. 7, 1:59 p.m. – Odessa complainant advised of a suicide attempt at a location near North Schoonover Road and Second, Ritzville. After investigation it was learned that no suicide attempt was made but a violation of a court order occurred. Randy Curtis Hofer was arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail.

Dec. 7, 10:21 a.m. – Lind School District advised of a juvenile problem at the High School. Listed parent was contacted and advised a criminal investigation was not wanted.

Dec. 6, 1:16 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of suspicious vehicle with a load of scrap in the bed of it. Complainant called as the vehicle was getting on westbound I-90 from Deal Road. Information was forwarded on to Grant County. Deputy Madison checked the area and was unable to locate the subject vehicle.

Dec. 6, 10:12 a.m. – Odessa complainant advised of a theft at a location on East Snowden Road, Ritzville. Complainant advised they think it is the same person as the last couple of times.

Dec. 5, 2:58 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a possible burglary in progress at a location on I-90 eastbound and North Batum Road. Sheriff Doug Barger, Sergeant Mock, Deputies Madison and Bernath located the subjects and vehicle at Batum Road and Griffith Road. Timothy Wayne Hampton and Patrick Howard Collins were arrested and booked into the Adams County Jail.

Dec. 5, 1:33 p.m. – Alarm at location on North Seivers Road, Ritzville. Deputy Madison responded and found all windows and doors were secure. Nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary.

Dec. 5, 1:30 p.m. – Washington State Patrol requested assistance with a vehicle search at a location on East Gun Club Road, Ritzville.

Dec. 4, 9:38 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a domestic in progress. Advised complainant was grabbed and shoved by spouse. Deputies Buriak and Lane responded and contacted listed subjects. Brad Lester Deaton was arrested for assault fourth degree domestic violence.

Dec. 4, 8:39 p.m. – Deputy Lane assisted a driver with the vehicle on Highway 395 northbound, near milepost 93.

Dec. 4, 4:37 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised a male subject came to their house in a dark blue Honda two door. When the complainant answered the door the subject acted surprised then stated his family was destitute and asked if they could have complainant’s scrap metal. The subject was evasive with his answers to complainant’s questions. Complainant stated this occurred two hours prior to calling. Sergeant Mock checked the area and was unable to locate the subject vehicle.

Dec. 4, 12:00 p.m. – Lind complainant advised a tenant is to be moved out today. Complainant is requesting a deputy to stand by. When Deputy Bernath arrived the subject had already moved out and all was taken care of.
