The Lacrosse-Washtucna Tigercats had a pair of difficult outings during the past week after winning a Friday night game over Garfiled-Palouse, 49-36.
The Tigercats fell to Colton 70-36 on Saturday night and then were handed a tough loss, 55-46 against Tri-Cities Prep on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
During the Tri-Cities Prep contest Darcy Stamper led the team with 17 points.
Jed Zimmer scored eight and Jake Aune had five points. Alec Fleming and Sam Harder each scored four points.
During the Colton game, Stubbs led the team in scoring with seven points.
Austin Summers and Aune each scored six. Justin Wargo had five points and Zimmer added four.
For the Lady Tigercats, Tuesday night was a great game as they posted their first win of the season in four games. They defeated Tri-Cities Prep 43-40.
Logan Harder and Anne Fleming lit up the scoreboard as they each posted 15 points during the game.
Kadie Whinery contributed eight points for the win.
Saturday wasn’t as pleasant an experience as the Lady Tigercats were defeated by Colton, 89-7.
Haley Dorman and Fleming each scored three points in the contest.
