The Ritzville High School Theatre Arts students will be putting on a production called “The Fearsome Pirate Frank” on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the grade school gym. Pat Lydersen wrote “The Fearsome Pirate Frank” and it is presented courtesy of Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. The play is a pirate farce with 20 actors playing more than 60 different characters.
Ashley Carruth will be playing the Pirate Frank while Caleb Olson will be playing the part of Frank, the pirate actor. Narrators for the play will be Alessa Neilan and Dezarae West.
Brandon Chapman, Caleb Stanley, Jarradd Morley, JD McBride, Justin Templin and Joe Malby will perform the pirate actors, treasure chest pirate and various other pirate roles.
Cassie Ewing, Iris Exoo, Meghan Allen, Crystal Brooks and Ashley Sullivan are Cap’n Frank’s crew, along with various other roles.
Luise Opperman will play Esmerelda. Drew Wilke will play Cap’n Ben Davis and Grant Wengeler will be Mr. Smee.
Kymberlee Webb will perform The Albatross, among other roles and Ariana Salazar will be A Siren, among other roles.
Tickets can be purchased from Theatre Arts students and are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. In order to be put in touch with a Theatre Arts student, call the high school office at 659-1720.
