Lind student donates from the heart

The holiday season is said to be the ‘season of giving,’ and this holiday season, a local teen is doing just that. Brandon Knodel is a senior at Lind High School and for his senior project he has started a fundraiser titled “Hams from the Heart.”

Knodel decided on this project after looking under the gift tree in the high school at the food donations that are collected underneath and realized what he saw is what families would be eating for Christmas dinner.

“I looked and saw Mac and Cheese,” said Knodel. “And then I thought about my Christmas dinner; ham and all the fixings.”
