Lind couple will be honored as grand marshals

Bill and Jeanette Wills have the honor of being the Grand Marshals for the Lind Chamber of Commerce’s 12th annual Lind Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Jeanette Wills was born and raised in Lind, while Bill Wills grew up in Kentucky. Jeanette wanted to remain in Lind and as Bill said, “She wanted to come home, and I followed.”

After Bill returned from the service, he moved to Lind with Jeanette. The Wills’ are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 8.
