Lind School Board proposes M&O levy

The Lind School Board met on Monday, Nov. 28, to discuss the Maintenance and Operations levy renewal. The current levy is at $2.67 generating $597,879. The Board has proposed a new levy assessment at $3.05, which should create a total amount of $688,573.

The last levy passed at an amount of $2.84 before the equalization of the state, creating the total amount to become less.

The levy is a major part of funding for the district and the new proposed levy will replace the existing one.
