On Nov. 21 and 22, Mrs. Cindy Edgren’s sixth-eighth grade students performed a Living Wax Museum. It was a great success and many people turned out to watch the students. In all, 75 students took part in the Wax Museum. Not only did Ritzville Grade School and high school students come see the performance, Benge students came as well as junior high students from Lind Junior High.
Thank you to all who helped out by donating, or loaning, costumes and props. Some costumes were made, such as Napoleon’s jacket. Thank you, Sharon Oestreich! Thanks also to the school board and administration for supporting this fun project!

The 2011-2012 school year is flying by! The students just came back from Thanksgiving break on Monday. We had a full week of school this week. Next week we have an early release on Wednesday, Dec. 7. On Dec. 8, there will be a K-fourth grade concert in the small gym at 7 p.m.
On Dec. 9, the sixth-eighth grades are having their second practice for the Measurement of Student Progress, or MSP test. This one will be focused on science. There will be several experiments set up and students will be divided into groups. These groups will rotate to different stations, watching the experiment and answering MSP type questions. Students from Lind will be joining the Ritzville students for this practice.
Finally, on Dec. 19, students will be released for Christmas vacation. Students return from vacation on Jan. 3, 2012. Have a good break and happy holidays!

Monday, Nov. 28, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague girls’ Broncos played a basketball game against the Odessa-Harrington Titans, in Ritzville. The “B” team played at 4, as usual. The Broncos maintained a 10-point lead. They played hard and tough, because the Titans were a tough team to play. After four short quarters, the Broncos won the game with a score of 34 to 15!
The Broncos’ next game is tonight in Ritzville. The “B” team will play at 4, and the “A” team will play at 5 p.m. The Broncos will be playing Reardan. The following Monday is a game against Wilbur-Creston at the Lind High School. So far the Broncos have been undefeated.
They have won four games so far and lost none.
There are only six more games left in this short season.
The Broncos plan on going undefeated for the whole season.
