Everyone invited to participate with church choir at Christmas kickoff

Happy Advent, everyone, Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas lights are beginning to light our nights. It is fun to prepare for Christmas, which is what Advent is all about.

It is getting ready for Jesus to come, remembering he came as a baby, knowing that he will come again and in the meanwhile inviting Jesus to dwell in our hearts.

I love this time of year, because I can see God at work creating and renewing us as we celebrate our lives together.

Speaking of celebrating, The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce will be lighting the Christmas tree downtown by the clock at 5:30 p.m. The Zion Philadelphia UCC Church will be leading Christmas carols.

Why not come and join us? Everyone is welcome and I mean everyone. Come, sing and celebrate.
