Shingles vaccination a good choice

I was pleased to read Adele Ferguson’s “Scared into a Shingles vaccination” article in the Ritzville Adams County Journal, Nov. 3, 2011. It’s always good to bring vaccine preventable illness information to the attention of the public.

The shingles vaccination is available to adults aged 60 and over, and given at the Adams County Health Department clinic, in Ritzville, every Wednesday between the hours of 8:30 a.m to noon and 1-4:30 p.m. In Othello they are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
