The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague junior high football team had a great season, finishing with a record of 4-2. The only team the Broncos lost against was Colfax and Liberty – once. It was a very fun season to have. The head coach was Dustin Stephen, and the assistant coach was Jordan Bilodeaux. The Broncos are looking for more seventh graders to play football next year!
On Monday, Oct. 31, the Ritzville Junior High had a Walk-a-Thon. Students got pledges or donations from members of the community. The money raised will go to the ASB. The ASB is planning on having a field trip in June to Pattison’s Skating Rink. There was music, prizes given away and students got to walk and talk to their friends! Everyone had a blast! The eighth graders walked (or ran) a total of 271 laps, and the seventh graders completed 226 laps. The total for the sixth graders is unknown.
For every $25 each student brought in, his or her name went into a hat to be drawn for an iPod Touch. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, the winner was drawn. Alison Deckard-Meye won the iPod Touch! Congratulations to Alison, and a big thank you to those of you who donated to the Walk-a-Thon! The ASB appreciates your support!
