Lady Broncos net season ends at districts

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Lady Broncos lost two out of three matches at the District 7 2B volleyball tournament, ending their 2011 season.

On Thursday, Nov. 3, they lost to Davenport in five games, 9-25, 25-17, 25-20, 19-25 and 8-15.

In the match Davis Killian had 20 kills and five blocks. Jenna Bennett delivered 32 assists and three aces. Brittany Ste. Marie contributed 28 digs.

They then defeated Springdale in three games, 25-15, 25-14 and 25-12.

Dalyn Killian provided one block. Davis Killian had 10 kills in the match.

Kaytlin Phillips, Davis Killian and Bennett each had three aces. Bennett finished with 16 assists and Phillips had 12 digs.

Saturday, Nov. 5, Northwest Christian halted the Lady Broncos’ tournament play, winning the match in three games, 11-25, 18-25 and 21-25.

Davis Killian recorded eight kills and two aces. Bennett finished with 10 assists.

Phillips and Ste. Marie each had 15 digs. Dalyn Killian provided three blocks.
