Relay For Life needs your help

First and foremost, I want to thank you for all you have done for the American Cancer Society. I would also like to introduce myself since most of you do not know who I am. My name is Jen Kronvall and I am your new staff partner for the Relay For Life of Ritzville. I am very excited to be a part of your community and this amazing event!

In addition, I wanted to take this time to inform you about some amazing leadership opportunities with the Relay For Life of Ritzville. As many of you already know, we have a number of holes in the Relay For Life of Ritzville committee and are desperately looking to fill these holes in order to make the Relay For Life of Ritzville as successful as it can be. From what I have been told, Ritzville is very community driven, so I have no doubt, when given the opportunity, people will step up to the plate. There are a number of committee positions available. There is variety in time and commitment for each of these positions, so there is definitely something for everyone!

The key positions we need to fill as soon as possible are...

Event Chair, Team Development, Sponsorship, Entertainment, Logistics, Advocacy and Mission Delivery. If any of these positions strike an interest or you would like to learn more, please email ([email protected]) or call me (509-242-8303); I would love to talk to you more about it.

The reason we are addressing these empty slot this early is that on Nov. 5 we are having our Relay Summit. This is an amazing event that we put on up here in Spokane for all our committee members in the entire region. It is a great place to get trained on your position, meet other people across the region doing the same thing you are and a great excuse to have a fabulous time! Did I mention there is free food?

So please, consider this amazing opportunity. And if doesn’t work for you and your schedule, please take a moment to think about who it might work for and make the ask.

Together we can make this 2012 season a great one! I look forward to meeting you all soon, and hopefully a few at our Relay Summit!
