The Ritzville Junior High Associated Student Body (ASB) is putting on a Fall Walk-a-Thon. It is where 6-8 graders will walk around the track for a fundraiser. Students will have the option to dress up in Halloween costumes, since the Walk-a-Thon will take place on Monday, Oct. 31. All junior high students will be at the football field at 2 p.m., and will walk until 3 p.m. The proceeds will go to the junior high ASB spring field trip to Pattison’s.
There will be refreshments and prizes available. Students have been given pledge sheets where members of the community can pledge money per lap or make a one-time donation. The ASB is buying an incentive prize for the walkers. Every $25 a student brings in, that student’s name will be entered in a drawing for an 8GB iPod Touch! Donations may also be made online at the school’s website. Be sure to follow the “Walk-a-Thon” link.
As members of the ASB, we are hoping you can attend and help us raise money for our trip! Thank you!

The Ritzville Middle School students in grades 6-8 are putting on a Living Wax Museum. The Wax Museum will take place on Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 22 from 9–11:30 a.m.
The Wax Museum will be located in the grade school gym and in several classrooms in the junior high. Students have chosen famous people who are deceased, and have written a summary speech about their life.
All community members are invited to the Wax Museum! It is fun and enjoyable to everyone, and it gives the students a chance to learn more about their historical society. The students will have their stations set up all around, so you can roam around and listen to everybody. We hope you can come! Enjoy!
