Tigercats lose gridiron battle with Pomeroy, 40-20

In homecoming football action, the LaCrosse-Washtucna Tigercats fell 40-20 to Pomeroy last Friday night.

Sawyer Hostetler started the scoring efforts in the first quarter with a one yard run. Matts Stubbs provided the two-point conversion on a pass from Jake Aune.

Pomeroy responded quickly with a 70-yard run.

The first half of the game ultimately ended in a time, 14-14, when both teams scored once each in the second quarter.

Sam Harder found the end zone for the Tigercats on a pass by from Aune. The extra point attempt was no good.

Pomeroy then scored a 55-yard run.

In the second half of the game the Tigercats scored just once on a 37-yard run by Hostetler. After that, Pomeroy owned the scoreboard, crossing the goal line three more times.
