The past week has been a busy one for the Lady Broncos in volleyball action. They won three consecutive matches, starting with an outing against Odessa-Harrington last Thursday.
They lost the first game, 25-16 and rebounded to win the next three games 25-19, 25-23 and 25-13.
“Needless to say there was a ton of energy and excitement,” coach Cari Galbreath said of the homecoming match.
The Lady Broncos then won a road battle against Almira-Coulee/Hartline on Saturday 14-25, 25-25, 26-28, 25-21 and 15-4. This was the first varsity win over ACH in three years.
Tuesday Liberty fell victim to the Lady Broncos who won the match in three games, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-13.
“We played very composed and controlled,” Galbreath said. “The game was a little slower pace but we didn’t force a lot of errors, which is really good.”
