Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The last eight months have been a financial nosedive for the East Adams Rural Hospital District. The arrogance of the administration and some members on the board has been appalling.
I am writing to support the re-election of Stacey Plummer, and to elect Jeff Reynolds and Jerry Snyder to the EARH board. All three candidates have indicated a need for a change, while their opponents talk about “educating the public and healing the community.” Never have they said, “We need a change to accommodate the public that the board is supposed to represent.”
The present practice of dollars leaving this hospital district with the locum (contract) doctors, salaries to employees not living in the district, and other contracted services needs to be re-evaluated and try to keep that money in our own economy.
When voting in the upcoming election, re-elect Stacey Plummer and elect Jeff Reynolds and Jerry Snyder to begin to change the course of the hospital district from one of deception and arrogance to one that will be conducted in an open manner and with common sense.
